One of the values of our philosophy as a company is the social commitment. With the aim of helping in the integration process of this collective, in July La Mar de Net visited DKV Integralia, a non profit entity that provides employment to people with functional diversity. This organitzation trains and gives support to disabled people in order to make them belive in their posibilities and take self-confidence, getting them to feel self-realized and with enough autonomy to take part into the labor market. The DKV Integralia foundation is a special work place, where the 100% of the employees have some kind of disability. All of them express how fullfiling is for a company the fact of having a colleague with functional diversity.
Disability is often understood, mistakenly, as the total inability of performing important activities as working. La Mar de Net value very positively the attitude and the aptitude of the people with functional diversity and bet on them. We consider that they have usefull habilities and capacities, there is a lot of tasks that they can make into our company.
Since the meeting, our department of human resources has started to work on the integration of people of this collective to introduce them into our work teams.
